My name's Emilie or Em to friends and family. I am originally from Normandy in northern France but I have lived in the UK since 2006.
I have been working as a professional interpreter for four years. I mainly work with refugees and asylum seekers who are in the process of settling down in England and I assist them in their appointments with healthcare professionals and social services to name but a few.
I am in the process of starting a career as an independent translator and I am here to gain experience whilst contributing to a worthy cause.
I am really happy to join this community and look forward to helping as much as I can.
